Bea Brito is an actress, filmmaker, and photographer, moving between reality and dream. She grew up in the dim glow of theater lights, where everything felt alive.
Born in São Paulo, Brazil, she first graduated in Theater in her hometown before moving to New York. Later, she relocated to London, where she studied Practical Filmmaking at Met Film School. After completing her studies, she found her way back to São Paulo, where she continues to create.
She has an endless love for horror—the eerie beauty of David Lynch, the quiet wanderings of Wim Wenders, the raw, unfiltered gaze of Nan Goldin. Their worlds shape hers, guiding the way she sees, feels, and tells stories.
To her, art is an act of defiance, a way to unearth the unsaid and make it impossible to ignore. Through her lens and performances, she tries to bottle that fleeting electricity—where nostalgia and possibility blur, where the cinematic and the unvarnished collide.
She believes that’s the essence of art: to bleed out the unspoken, to carry those vital stories forward, loud and unapologetic.
